Midway Community Hub is designed for people to meet, learn and celebrate. The ocean outlook keeps energy high; the rooms are practical and easy to set up. Choose the Boardroom for smaller rōpū or committees, or the Mana Moana Lounge for larger hui, wānanga, fundraisers, performances and celebrations. Our team supports your tikanga — from karakia at the start to kai together — and helps you land on a layout that fits.

Keep it simple with platters and barista coffee, or choose trusted local providers for hot lunches and formal dinners. You’re welcome to bring your own catering, décor and materials — we’ll brief you on access, bump-in/bump-out and service points so everything runs to time. Prefer recommendations? Inclusions & Amenities
Every booking includes tables and chairs, Wi-Fi, standard room setup, and access to onsite bathrooms and accessible entry. The Lounge adds ocean views and direct balcony access; the Boardroom adds a large display for presentations. AV options (projector/TV, mics) are available on request, and both spaces can access a large kitchen for self-catering or working with your preferred vendors. We prep the space before your arrival and do a basic reset afterwards.

Do you offer community/non-profit rates?
Yes — ask when you call. We’ll do our best to support local kaupapa.
Can we self-cater or BYO?
Yes. You can BYO catering and beverages. A responsible, sober adult must be present if alcohol is served. No under-age drinking.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes — accessible entry and facilities throughout.
What are the hours?
Boardroom: typically 6:00am–9:00pm. Lounge: typically 7:00am–Midnight. Ask about a next-day clean-up window (subject to availability).
What about rubbish and cleaning?
Please remove rubbish/recycling at the end of hire. We reset the room after; a next-day clean-up option may be available.
Can we book recurring sessions?
Yes — talk to us about regular weekly or monthly bookings.
